What is your occupation? Special Education Teacher/Instructional Specialist. Where is your hometown? El Dorado, Arkansas. Do you have any children? Yes, one daughter, Melody. How do you spend your spare time? During the summer, I work cheer camps; during the year, if I can find an hour or two, I love to watercolor. I also play hand bells and sing in the church choir. What quality do you like the most about yourself? I am a true friend. What quality do you least like about yourself? I often procrastinate and then have to hurry … and of course, I want it perfect. What kind of music do you listen to? I really like a lot of different music, but if I had to choose one, it would be music from the ‘80s. Name your favorite place in the world. Any beach! What has surprised you the most about your adult life? I am really surprised and blessed that I have taught school for 35 years and been a cheer coach for 25. What is your guiltiest pleasure? That would be cheese dip, chips and a big Coke. What top three qualities do you look for in a mate? Integrity, sense of humor and being family-oriented are very important to me. Are you a dog or a cat person? I am most definitely a cat person. What is your favorite flower to receive? Yellow or pink roses. What is your life's motto? “You have to pull your own happy wagon.”
