Grilled Asparagus with Lemon and Blue Cheese |

| Ingredients: | 1 bunch asparagus, about 1 pound, tough ends snapped off · 1 teaspoon canola or olive oil · Juice of 1/2 lemon, freshly-squeezed · 2 ounces blue cheese crumbles · Freshly-ground pepper to taste |
| Directions: | Brush the oil over the asparagus spears. Heat a stovetop grill until a drop of water sizzles when it hits the pan. Spread the asparagus out in one layer on the grill, and cook over medium high heat until tender. Use a tongs to turn the spears so they brown on all sides. Remove to a serving platter, sprinkle over the lemon juice and blue cheese. Grind over pepper to taste. |
