Classic, traditional, delicious and consistent. Galatoire’s Restaurant on Bourbon Street in New Orleans has had customers lining up around the block for years … 103 years to be exact.

The world-renowned, family-owned and operated restaurant began all those years ago when founder Jean Galatoire arrived in the Crescent City all the way from the small village of Pardies, France, with his recipes and an entrepreneurial idea that would be carried through his family for generations.

Today, the fifth generation of the Galatoire family owns the restaurant, and they still use the same extensive menu, serving fare they have coined “French-Creole.”
