With Mother’s Day only a little over a week away, you may be racking your brain trying to find the perfect place to treat your mom. Mother’s Day is on a Sunday and we all know what Sunday is… brunch day. Check out this quick list of Central Arkansas restaurants serving up some Mother’s Day brunch specials this May 13.
1. The Capital Hotel—Little Rock, The River Market
One Eleven, the Capital Hotel’s critically acclaimed restaurant, will be hosting their annual Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 13. The three-course meal is $68 per adult, $25 for children 6-11 years old and free for those five and under. The Capital Hotel will also be hosting a Mother’s Day Tea from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at One Eleven. Reservations for the brunch can be made by calling the hotel at 501-370-7068.
2. Loblolly—Little Rock, SoMa
If your mom has a big sweet tooth, take her by Loblolly Creamery in the heart of South Main Street on May 12 or 13. According to the store’s Instagram, they’ll be serving up a special that includes four mini scoops, two macarons, two mini strawberry rose sodas and a card. Loblolly is known for “all natural, handcrafted ice cream, pastries sweet treats” and could be the perfect place for your sweet-loving mom.
3. Kemuri—Little Rock, Hillcrest
Known for their sushi, seafood, robata and eclectic brunch, Kemuri is the spot for any mom who loves Asian-fusion cuisine. Some of the brunch entrees include: green tea pancakes, soft shell crab eggs benedict and grits with shrimp, shiitake mushrooms and shishito peppers. Kemuri also offers a build-your-own mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. Brunch is from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and reservations can be made by calling 501-660-4100 or via OpenTable.
4. ZaZa Fine Salad & Wood-Oven Pizza—Conway
ZaZa will be serving their usual brunch on Mother’s Day. Offering dishes like biscuits and house-made sausage gravy, eggs benedict, chicken and waffles, an assortment of breakfast pizzas and more, this brunch is an option for those City of Colleges moms. ZaZa’s Conway location also has a bar. Some brunch drink specials include: mimosa buckets, sangria and Bloody Marys. Bartender Jessie Kirkpatrick’s favorite brunch items? The veggie eggs benedict and the Huevos Rancheros pizza.
5. Little Rock Zoo—Little Rock
For any mom wanting to make a day out of brunch, the Little Rock Zoo Mother’s Day Brunch event is an option. According to the zoo’s website, there will be a brunch buffet served at Cafe Africa. There will also be live music, crafts for kids and visits from animal ambassadors. Reservations for both the 10 – 11:30 a.m. and 12 – 1:30 p.m. seating times can be made online.
