The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement helps to educate and empower women in the fight against both heart disease and stroke. To help boost these efforts and improve the health of women in Arkansas, the Central Arkansas American Heart Association is asking that all women make plans to attend the Go Red For Women event Wednesday May 17 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Little Rock, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The luncheon program begins at 12:00 p.m.
Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields is the featured speaker for this year’s event, sharing a message on healthy eating. The luncheon will also include a special tribute to the 2017 Featured Survivors. The event will begin with a women’s expo and purse-onality silent auction.
Death in women has decreased by more than 30% over the past ten years, but the fight is far from over. When you get involved with supporting Go Red For Women by advocating, fundraising and sharing, more lives are saved. It’s time to take action. Together, we can end heart disease. Women Go Red.
