CARTI IMPLEMENTS DRIVE-THRU PRE-SCREENINGS

“Elevates safety precautions in light of coronavirus

LITTLE ROCK, AR (March 16, 2020) – In light of the recent influx of coronavirus diagnoses in Arkansas, CARTI is implementing elevated safety protocols to ensure the health and well-being of its patients, caregivers and team members. CARTI’s executive leadership and medical team continues to monitor this global pandemic on a minute-by-minute basis and are initiating appropriate protocols.

Starting Monday, March 16, CARTI’s elevated precautions include:

  • Drive-thru pre-screening locations for patients and caregivers to utilize.
    • To view the pre-screen and parking location directions for the CARTI Cancer Center in Little Rock, click here.
    • All additional locations will utilize drive-thru and outdoor pre-screening locations outside of the main door of the facility.
    • Because of these elevated precautions, all patients should arrive 40 minutes before their appointment to account for additional time needed to go through the pre-screen process and fill out paperwork.
  • Rescheduling all nonessential appointments to reduce the number of patients in clinic spaces and minimize the possibility of exposure for patients who have essential appointments or who are in active treatment.
  • Canceling all nonessential appointments for specialty clinics, including The Breast Center at CARTI and The Cancer Genetics and Risk Management Clinic.
    • Diagnostic patients will continue to be seen at The Breast Center.
  • Discouraging patients from having food delivered to a CARTI facility, and encouraging them to bring food that has been prepared at home.

“As always, CARTI operates under the most thorough infection control procedures,” said Adam Head, CARTI president and CEO. “We have protocols and systems in place to safeguard the health and safety of our patients, visitors and healthcare workers, and to minimize the risk of COVID-19 at CARTI and within our community.”

If a patient is experiencing any respiratory symptoms, they should call our nurses line at 501.906.3000, available Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

If you have any additional questions, please contact your medical team or call 501.906.3000.”

Entertainment

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

“After careful consideration and discussions with our staff, community partners, and health officials, we’ve decided to temporarily close Crystal Bridges and The Momentary in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Crystal Bridges will close starting Monday, March 16 at 6 pm, and the Momentary will close today at 7 pm. Both venues will remain closed through March 31. Programs and events for March & April have already been canceled.

While we’re closed, we will actively seek ways to connect with guests on all of our platforms. So you tell us! What would you like to see on our social media channels this month?

We will also seek ways to share the beauty of nature in a safe, responsible way, as access to our trails may provide needed stress relief for our community. The Crystal Bridges trails will remain open every day from dawn to dusk.

We appreciate your support and flexibility. We’ve made this decision in solidarity with the city and the nation, as a majority of museums around the country have temporarily closed their doors in response to COVID-19. We look forward to welcoming all to enjoy our space again starting March 31.”

The health and safety of our guests, staff, animals, volunteers and the community are our highest priority.

We inspire people to value and conserve our natural world. At The Corner Little Rock

“This weekend felt different. It was different. But it was necessary. Our team went above and beyond to ensure the safety of our customers & teammates. From single use disposable silverware and cupware, to our self serve stations being moved to table side, to laminating and sanitizing every menu & @ number after use and before reuse. From deep cleaning and sanitizing every table, chairs & booths before a new party was seated. To assigning one person to pre-bus and bus all tables to ensure gloves were worn at all times. To posting a letter on our walls so our customers could read about our new changes, asking for patience and kindness. To sanitizing every hour all door handles, bathroom handles, appliance handles, pos stations, and other stations and when we were busier we did it every 30 mins. To washing our hands diligently and thoroughly. To fixing green juices & warm lemon water shots for our team and the list goes on and on. But at the end of the day, every single person that walked through our doors or got curbside weren’t just customers or teammates and never will be. We all share this planet together. We are all humans together and we love you like friends and family because @ the end of the day, @ The Corner isn’t just a restaurant. It’s our home. And we are thankful for you, our team and everyone that we get the privilege to call family and as a family we will continue to take care of you! ❤️” – The King & @ Family

Bella Vita Jewelry – Little Rock

“Dear friends and loyal patrons:⠀
⠀
After a lot of thought, I have decided to temporarily close the Bella Vita shop. Though it pains me to do so, I feel it is my responsibility to follow the suggestions of our public health professionals. As a business owner, that means closing my doors and not encouraging people to come out to shop during this public health crisis. ⠀
⠀
This is only temporary. We will be back open as soon as it is safe!

In the meantime, you can still shop with us! I am committed to keeping my wonderful staff, and we will be working really hard to update our website with as much product as we can. ⠀
⠀
During our temporary store closure, you can shop online and take advantage of free domestic shipping with this code: SHIPITGOOD. I will be making free, personal deliveries in the Little Rock area, and you can still pick up curbside (outside the shop) with us. We’ll be in there working away! ⠀

Stay tuned to our social media stories and posts as we will be updating them all day, every day starting tomorrow after I have a pow wow with my team. I am also working on some jewelry-making kits that we can ship out to keep you all busy, and even give those kiddos something to do besides look at a screen all day. ⠀
⠀
I truly feel like Bella Vita will be fine during all of this. But, I do want you to recognize how important it is to support your local independent businesses. Most of us have no financial backers or corporate safety nets. Most of us are worried about rent and keeping all of our employees on payroll. And as we all enter survival mode, I personally am worried about all the little shops that keep our wholesale business afloat. BUT, Im staying positive and trying to figure out ways to innovate. ⠀
⠀
So, stick with us! Take some time to go enjoy the great outdoors and stay as safe and sane as possible! And when—not if, but when—this cloud lifts, we’ll be throwing open the doors and welcoming you all back to our little shop. Can’t wait to see you all again!”

Feinstein’s
