Baseball season is quickly approaching, and the Arkansas Travelers have set their 2021 schedule with 60 home games at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock.

After the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Travellers will be making their return in 2021, playing in the Double-A Central League of Major League Baseball’s Minor League system.

In total, the Travelers have 120 games scheduled for the upcoming season, which is expected to last 20 weeks. There will be 60 home games at Dickey-Stephens Park, including 18 games in May, six in June, 12 in July, 19 in August and five in September.

To kick off the season, the Travelers will open at home against the Northwest Arkasnas Naturals on Tuesday, May 4. The final regular season game for the Travelers will take place Sunday, Sept. 19 in Wichita.

“We are excited to announce our schedule for this season as well as being able to allow fans for games in limited numbers to support our Travs,” Travelers executive vice president and CEO Rusty Meeks said in a statement. “In working with local health officials and Major League Baseball, we are confident we will create a safe environment for all involved parties. After no Travelers baseball last summer, we are eagerly anticipating the opening of the 2021 season.”

During the 2021 season, attendance will be restricted according to state and local ordinances. Season ticket holders will be contacted about ticket policies, and a limited number of single game tickets will be available.
