This November, Little Rock will be getting a taste of the finer things in life during an event that is the first of its kind in the state. The Arkansas Whiskey Festival will provide festivalgoers the chance to try whiskeys and distilled spirits from around the world on Saturday, Nov. 3.
During the event, participants can sample whiskeys from around the U.S. and from other countries. There will even be local companies represented during the festival. “We will have Rock Town Distillery here. They are one of our headliners,” says Dewan Clayborn, one of the event organizers.

This festival will not be limited to whiskey tastings, though. The organizers are hoping to provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about whiskeys, their unique properties and what pairs with them. “We have some of the local restaurants doing food pairings with the whiskeys,” Clayborn says.
Festivalgoers will also be able to interact with prominent whiskey brands during the event. Of course, the most valuable interactions will likely be with fellow whiskey aficionados.
