Created in Tokyo in the early 2000s, Pecha Kucha are multimedia storytelling formats where storytellers get 20 slides at 20 seconds each to tell their story. Pecha Kucha incorporate visuals, words, and music to bring their stories alive in unique and memorable ways. Pecha Kucha nights are now happening in over 1000 cities worldwide.
Artist INC provides cutting-edge training seminars that address the specific daily business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face. Limited to twenty-five participants per seminar, artists gather for one night a week for eight weeks to learn business skills specific to their art practice and apply those skills cooperatively with their peers. Artist INC, Argenta will host its next session in September 2018, and applications open May 28, 2018.
Potluck and Poison Ivy is a live dinner and storytelling event in North Little Rock, Arkansas that invites you to bring your story to the table by sharing a meal and some good ole Southern storytelling. It’s a potluck of people, themes and ways to tell a story, served with a hearty helping of laughter, Southern exaggerations and even some unexpected poison ivy.
