Bailey Moses

For this week’s Woman Wednesday, AY About You sits down with Bailey Moses.

Moses was born and raised in Cabot and still proudly resides in Cabot with her husband Peyton, a firefighter. After graduating Cabot High School, Moses received her undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University in strategic communications with a double emphasis in public relations and social media management. She was one of the first students to graduate with a SMM degree. Quickly following, Moses earned her master’s degree in media management as well.

For the last four  years, Moses has owned a social media management firm, Social Grid Media, to provide social media management services to local business, events, nonprofits and even Fortune 500 companies. She also offers coaching and training, which has led her to speak to diverse business owners all over the world from Canada to Australia to India.

When Moses isn’t working at her primary job, she is working with “Walk For Wheezy,” Grand Prairie CASA, visiting state parks with her husband, and spending time with her family.

Moses explains what it means to her to be a woman. “It means taking on challenges and pushing forward until success is achieved,” she says.

Moses takes a moment to share the challenges that she has faced as a woman throughout her career.

“At my stage of life, I am beginning to feel the unspoken pressure of being successful, being a good, present wife, and starting a family all while running a business! It is a lot to think about,” Moses says. “Thankfully, I have seen women ahead of me do it all and more, so I know it is not impossible. Not specifically a challenge in my field, but an umbrella of having a career.”

Moses offers a word of advice to women and girls who might read this article. “Find a mentor! With anything, there are highs and lows, ups and downs,” she says. “Having someone who has been where you are at to help you get through the lows and celebrate with you in the highs is the best gift to have.”
