Love going out to catch a show? Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, these nights out have been sorely limited, but two local arts organizations are partnering up for a special performance.
Ballet Arkansas and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will be performing in an open-air concert in downtown Little Rock in November. The concert will take place in front of the Matt McLeod mural on Nov. 15, at 3 p.m.
During the performance, Ballet Arkansas will premiere three world premiere works created by its company dancers and choreographers, including Paul Tillman, Matthew Larson, and Hannah Bradshaw.
The ASO will provide the live accompaniment, performing “Last Round” by Osvaldo Golijov, “Adagio for Springs” by Samuel Barber, and “Magic Box” by Augusta Read Thomas.
Ticket registration for this free concert opens on Nov. 9. Click here for more information.
