Banker Behind the Bank
Madeline Moore
HR Manager, Arvest

As a human resources manager, Madeline Moore isn’t a traditional banker. But her skill is helping those on the front line be the best they can be.

Moore grew up in Little Rock and earned a Bachelor of Science in human and organizational development at Vanderbilt University in Nashville before taking a job soon after college with Arvest Bank in Lowell. She left the bank to earn a Juris Doctor at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville and worked in private practice for several years before she got the opportunity to return to Arvest in her current role.

“I love working with people and helping people,” Moore says. “Human Resources is not always perceived that way in every organization, but the combination of our structure and culture really allow it to be that way at Arvest.”

“My role allows me to help people achieve and perform at their highest levels. I sometimes work with people at personal lows or dealing with extremely difficult circumstances, and the ability to show that I care and help them is incredibly fulfilling.”

Moore says banks are essential because they know, support and sustain their communities.

“I have had such a fun time in the last year as Arvest has gone into some new communities across our state,” she says. “Places like Monette, Manila, Ashdown, Nashville, Dierks, Mt. Ida and Jonesboro. Each is unique, and the deep connections that our associates have to those communities and their customers are really remarkable.”
