October has finally arrived, and that means Halloween isn’t far away. So, get your costumes ready and start deciding which party you’re going to!
One of the best places in Arkansas to spend Halloween is Batesville. The town is holding a Halloween event along Main Street, where there will be plenty of spooky fun for the whole family.
Main Street Batesville will host a “Fun and Safe Halloween” on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. During the Halloween event, residents and road-trippers are invited to amble down Main Street while merchants pass out sweet treats.

This will be a kid-friendly event! Side streets around Main Street will be blocked off, so the kids can wander around and enjoy themselves.
Don’t forget the costumes! Main Street Batesville organizers are encouraging kids to wear costumes and make great memories during the event.
Businesses and other organizations are welcome to set up for the event. To learn more, email mainstreetbatesville@gmail.com.
