North Carolina based fried chicken and biscuit chain Bojangles restaurant is coming to Clarksville, Arkansas.

AY’s sister publication Arkansas Money & Politics reported as far back as January of 2020 that Bojangles would be partnering with Love’s Travel Stops to bring the popular fried chicken chain to Arkansas. The first one opening in Blytheville, this Clarksville location just off Interstate 40 will make for their second location in the state.

Love’s Travel Stops already has a pretty major footprint in Arkansas with yesterday’s opening in Clarksville. “Opening our 16th location in Arkansas, means giving customers better access to clean and safe places while they’re on the road,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “The new Love’s in Clarksville will offer a variety of fresh food, snacks and drinks located directly off the interstate.”

Bojangles is tentatively scheduled to open at their Clarksville location on July 11.
