Camp Aldersgate is celebrating its platinum anniversary with 75 After Dark. Guests are invited to travel through the decades starting from 1947 to today. Attendees will find themselves in for “one groovy night chilling at Woodstock, hustling at the disco, sipping on Coke floats or hanging on a comfy sofa with big cups of coffee.”
“This event’s theme is a special tribute to our legacy as we walk through the decades and remember how far we’ve come since 1947,” says Sonya Murphy, CEO of Camp Aldersgate. “The future is bright for Camp Aldersgate, Inc., and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone.”
With a concert by Almost Elton John, the evening will include food and a nostalgic marketplace. Select sponsors will have private wigwams with covered outdoor seating, and others will have premium seats to enjoy the live music. That’s not all, though — Camp Aldersgate also has a surprise waiting to be revealed at the event (Hint: It’s “all about the future!”).
From poodle skirts to parachute pants, bell bottoms or bomber jackets, disco chic or tight rolled jeans — the options for guests to forgo formal fashion and dress according to their favorite decades are endless.
75 After Dark will take place on April 29 from 7-11 p.m. at Camp Aldersgate, in Little Rock. Individual tickets will be $125 and host tickets will be $1,250. Sponsorships start at $2,500.
Proceeds from 75 After Dark will go toward the Camp Aldersgate mission of providing life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs. To help 75 After Dark reach its goal of raising $100,000, purchase tickets or sponsorships — or to make a donation, click here.
