Local yoga instructor JoAnn Camp has announced the opening of her new studio, Camp Yoga & SUP, in the heart of the Heights neighborhood in Little Rock.

Located at 5913 Kavanaugh Boulevard, between Boulevard Bread Co. and BEIGE, the studio offers classes ranging from hot power yoga to slow, recovery-oriented classes and everything in between. The new studio will also offer all the outdoor yoga adventures Camp is famous for, plus a number of in-studio fitness classes with weights and Pilates.

In addition, the studio will be the new home to Camp’s TruYoga Institute, a 200-hour training program through the Yoga Alliance. An advanced, 500-hour training course is scheduled to begin in Feb. 2023.

Camp Yoga & SUP is also offering special classes on Aug. 4 and 18 where participants can “flow to live music and end a free community yoga class with a toast.”

Camp is known for her unique style that includes stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), goat and rooftop yoga. She was inspired to open this studio after “literally floating around for a few years,” and describes the goal of the new space as “sharing energy, building relationships, and lifting each other up.”

“All of our class offerings increase mobility, flexibility, and strength while integrating breathing and mindfulness practices,” Camp said. “This is what establishes the mind-body connection that helps people create healthy habits, reduce injuries, and move through everyday life with more ease.”
