The Capital Hotel and its associated restaurants are remaining closed for the time being.
On the hotel’s website, a message reveals that the hotel is “temporarily closed,” citing the COVID-19 pandemic as the cause. The hotel is expected to open back up “in the near future,” according to the message.
Speaking to a Capital Hotel representative, the reopening date is more unclear.
“The Capital Hotel will reopen but because of the uncertainty of COVID-19, we do not have a definite date,” Frank Thomas, Stephens Inc. spokesman, said.
