Sad news out of Texarkana this morning. Famed restaurant Cattleman’s Steak House of Texarkana, recent inductee into the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame, is closing March 5.
Cattleman’s was opened in 1968 and has since been one of Texarkana’s most beloved eateries.
An inside source tells AY About You that the employees were notified yesterday of the closing. A Facebook post says that the building has been sold to Loca Luna Mexican Grill, not to be confused with the Little Rock eatery by the same name. According to its website, Loca Luna Mexican Grill has multiple locations in both Arkansas and Texas.
