The winds are getting colder, marking the changing of the seasons in Arkansas. To celebrate the seasonal shift, Garvan Woodland Gardens is holding a winter festival.
During the Winter Garden Festival, visitors to Garvan Woodland Gardens will have a bevy of photo opportunities in this iconic Arkansas destination. Whether you want an Instagram shot along the Camellia Trail or a picture of some of the garden displays, Garvan Woodland Gardens has you covered.
One of the highlights of the daytime festival is the Garvan Pavilion. It has been completely transformed into a life-sized snow globe. How’s that for some winter magic?
If you get hungry or thirsty, the Chipmunk Café will be serving up salads, sandwiches and snacks. There will also be complimentary hot chocolate.
Visitors will also get to experience some previously inaccessible areas of the gardens. Daytime visitors can tour the Evans Children’s Adventure Garden, the Evans Tree House, the Hixson Nature Preserve and the Perry Wildflower Overlook.
Any season is right for a good cup of tea, but the holidays are absolutely perfect for a good Holiday High Tea.
Garvan Woodland Garden will be holding a “Holiday High Tea” on Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. in the Magnolia Room. During the high tea, you can enjoy scones, finger foods, and of course, delicious hot teas.
Admission to Garvan Woodland Gardens is $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 through 12. Children ages 3 and under are free, while dogs on a short leash are $5.
Masks are required for entry into the gardens.
