The Arkansas Italian Food and Wine Festival is back. This year’s third-annual festivities, presented by Relyance Bank, will take place at the Penick Boys & Girls Club in Little Rock.
The 2022 festival will include food from many of Central Arkansas’ favorite eateries, such as The Rock Brick Oven Pizza, Raduno, Vino’s, Grafitti’s, Boulevard Bread Co., Le Pops and Repicci’s Italian Ice. There will also be exclusive wine tastings during two nights of the festival (April 29, 30), featuring dozens of wines from both Italian and Italian-American producers.
Additionally, the festival will also host a “Taste of Italy” dinner on Thursday, April 28 at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. The “multi-course creative culinary experience” will showcase wines from Tuscany and the Veneto paired with traditional dishes from Italy. The five-course dinner will be prepared by the club’s chef, Patrick Carter.
There will also be a grape stomping contest, a waiter’s race (with local waiters and bartenders) and a sauce cooking contest.
“Relyance Bank is proud to be the presenting sponsor for the third-annual Italian Food & Wine Festival benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas,” says David Straessle, Relyance Bank Central Arkansas Market President. “We realize the impact of giving back to nonprofits. The Boys & Girls Clubs are playing a crucial role in providing programming, mentoring and a safe space for the youth in our community.”
The Arkansas Italian Food and Wine Festival is slated for April 29 to May 1. Tickets are $10 per day or $15 for a weekend pass. All of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas.
