Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice, Former U.S. Secretaries of State, David M. Rubenstein, philanthropist and cofounder of The Carlyle Group and Yo-Yo Ma will present in-person programs through the fall at Crystal Bridges in order to celebrate and reflect on We the People: The Radical Notion of Democracy.

Constitution Weekend at Crystal Bridges will take place Sept. 15 – Sept. 17., and will initiate the series, including talks, performances, artmaking and gallery conversations led by community members, experts, artists and educators. The themes of this weekend include freedom, justice and civic engagement.

In an effort to continue and expand on deepening the understanding of the narrative of America, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art has announced creative programming and a discussion panel from some of the United States’ most prominent leaders in celebration of Constitution Day.

Creating a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity this past summer, Crystal Bridges brought the exhibit that allowed for guests to experience a blend of historical documents alongside historical and contemporary artworks outside of the nation’s capital. This Constitution Day celebration continues in that vein with this extraordinary program.
