Loca Luna has a daily home-cookin’ special that if you’ve got an October hankering for what Grandma makes in November. Stop on in for a real turkey treat! For those whose curiosity is now piqued about the other day specials, Tuesday’s special has a Mexican flavor of either a chicken flauta or taco along with guacamole, beans and rice. For Wednesday, it is Money’s Louisiana pork tamales with chili or cheese dip or a combination of the two and beans and rice, and Thursday is chicken brocolli and cheese casserole. On Fridays, it’s fried Ozark catfish with jalapeno buttermilk hushpuppies.
Chef and owner Mark Abernathy reminds patrons on the menu that Loca Luna is home to “the first white cheese dip in America.” This is a great stop for weekend brunch as well.

Monday: Roasted Turkey Breast and Pecan Dressing
Tuesday: Famous Giant Chicken Flauta or Giant Soft Chicken Taco with Fresh Guacamole, Sour Cream and Salsa. Served with pinto beans and fiesta rice.
Wednesday: Money’s Louisiana Pork Tamales. Topped with beef chili, cheese dip or a combination, with fiesta rice and pinto beans.
Thursday: Chicken Broccoli and Cheese Casserole.
Friday: Fried Ozark Catfish with Jalapeño Buttermilk Hushpuppies
