Diamond Bear Brewing Company announced this week on social media that it would be closed on several dates for a feature film that is being filmed in multiple locations across central Arkansas, including at Diamond Bear.

While the name of the project has not yet been released, the brewery announced that the film would include major actors and will be an important film for the State of Arkansas for many reasons. The brewery also announced that it was working closely not only with the film’s producers, but also with the Arkansas Film Commission. The film will feature several scenes inside of the North Little Rock brewery.

The Taproom explained it will be closed on key filming dates: Aug. 30, Sept. 1, Sept. 2 after 2:00 p.m., Sept. 6 and Sept. 7.

“We ask for your understanding and to please excuse any inconvenience while the filming is taking place,” the brewery stated in a Facebook post. “For both filming reasons and safety concerns The Taproom at Diamond Bear will need to be closed on key filming days. Other days it will be open but may have some of the movie sets still in place.”
