This is that difficult conversation we need to have. It’s about your cell phone.
People are lying to you when you get text messages. The text message you received saying to meet at the Red Lobster for a package delivery, I am giving it a hard pass.
The one that says USPS missed your mail delivery but to click a link because it can be resolved. Again. A no. Plus, why would USPS text me (they don’t have my number) from an out of state area code?
And finally, don’t click the Netflix link. That one you got in your inbox.
The links are the things you want to avoid. Malware among other destructive things can be downloaded to your computer by an innocent curiosity to a link.
People are conniving and trying to steal from you. And they’re using your device to lure you. You believe everything that sweet thing tells you. Well, I have a revelation: SOME OF IT REALLY IS FAKE NEWS.
Have you had any of these? Since we aren’t answering the phone to learn about our warranties expiring, these swindlers are digging deeper. Let’s shut ‘em down.
