Calling all Central Arkansas cyclists! CARTI’s Tour de Rock is set for Saturday, June 2 in North Little Rock.
The charity cycling event will take place from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the North Shore River Walk, 140 Riverfront Drive in North Little Rock. This event features the fastest century ride in the South.
No matter your ability, all cyclists are welcome. Riders can choose a 25, 50, 62, 80 or 100 mile ride. You can be as serious about the ride as you like; for those who want to have some fun, there will be lots of rest stops and a great after party. The after party will have food, music and plenty of ice-cold beer to refresh you after your workout.
Proceeds go to CARTI’s programs and services. CARTI is an independent nonprofit cancer care center that serves patients throughout the state. The CARTI Cancer Center is located at 8901 Carti Way in Little Rock, but there are also locations in Benton, Clinton, Conway, El Dorado, Heber Springs, Mountain Home and more.
Race registration is $45, which will get you a T-shirt and admission to the after party. You can buy a 2018 Tour de Rock Jersey for $100, or get one free if you raise $250 through a fundraising page for the event.
