Stay tuned for a special concert series titled “Live from the Cash Porch” provided by KASU Public Radio, the City of Wilson and the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home. Award-winning country artist Erin Enderlin will kick off the summer concert series on Saturday, June 25.

“We are delighted to have Erin perform at our first summer concert,” says Penny Toombs, director of Dyess Colony: Johnny Cash Boyhood Home, an Arkansas State University Heritage Site. “We encourage folks to come out with friends and family to enjoy this special experience of live music on the Cash porch.”

Enderlin was included in the celebration of Johnny Cash’s birthday this past winter with a cover of his hit song “Give My Love to Rose.”

Attendees of the Cash Porch event may bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy drinks and snacks available for purchase. Don’t worry about the heat, tents will be set up for shade. Wilson Cafe is offering a 10 percent dining discount after the concert to those who show proof of attendance.

The remaining shows in the series will be on Saturdays, July 16 and Aug. 20. “Live from the Cash Porch” is free to attend. Find more information here.
