It was a perfect evening for a hoedown last night at the Harding Farm in west Little Rock. That’s where supporters got to celebrate the successes of the wonderful work of Exodus.Life. This charity provides education for non-violent offenders incarcerated in our prison system. ]Many of these men and women were drug addicts and that’s what got them in prison.
Last night’s event honored Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin and his wife Elizabeth for their support for the organization. Laura Monteverdi from THV 11 and photojournalist Bre Conyers were there; she emceed the event, and he gave his Emmy to the organization to display it there. He won the Emmy on a feature he and Laura did about Exodus.Life. Laura has been featured in the Mental Health Guide, a publication of About You Publishing Group, for her work. You’ve likely seen her story about addiction and breaking the cycle.
