The Faces Of Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery
Arkansas Surgical Hospital
Arkansas Surgical Hospital is a nationally recognized facility that provides patient-focused care for the treatment of orthopedic, spine and sports-related injuries as well as total joint replacements.
In 2005, a small group of surgeons opened Arkansas Surgical Hospital with one goal: to provide exceptional care. Today, its physician owners have control over every aspect of patient care, from the design of the facility to the equipment used during various procedures. The physicians make the decisions that affect their patients — every single day.
As a part of their patient-centered focus, Arkansas Surgical Hospital offers a unique hospital experience. This includes 41 inpatient suites — each with a separate room for family members to rest in while patients recover — as well as an on-site chef and room service so patients can select meals prepared specifically for them. The goal is to make their patients feel welcome and comfortable because they believe that people heal better when they’re at ease.
“Surgery can be stressful,” they say, “but your stay with us shouldn’t be.”
Arkansas Surgical Hospital provides more orthopedic, spine and sports injury treatments and total joint replacement procedures than any other facility in the state. They are one of only 19 hospitals in the nation to receive Double Five-Star Ratings for Overall Hospital Quality and Overall Patient Experience from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
According to a survey conducted by CMS, Arkansas Surgical Hospital is ranked in the 99th percentile for patients saying they would recommend them and in the 98th percentile for patients saying they would rate them a 9 or 10 out of a possible score of 10. In addition, the hospital’s infection rate is less than 0.5 percent (the national average is over 3 percent).
From their experienced physician owners to the exceptional staff around them, every individual at Arkansas Surgical Hospital is dedicated to overall patient care. They are committed to carrying this established level of care into the future for the people of Arkansas.
