The Face Of Weddings
Cross Iron Cottage
Designer, Builder, Tonia Griffin
Finding the perfect wedding venue isn’t out of reach for people in central Arkansas. That’s because the business that Tonia Griffin dreamed up is the one that has people telling their friends about. Griffin designed Cross Iron Cottage and adjoining English Bridal Cottage with the bride on her magical day in mind. It looks like an English cottage, which she says, “makes the bride’s guests feel like they traveled back in time to England.” She spent much time researching English country designs to fulfill her perfect vision.
For receptions, the Cross Iron French Country Barn is an impressive choice. It features heavy French wooden tables, gold Chiavari chairs, two built-in bars, and much more. The property is large enough to accommodate food trucks and a dance floor. Griffin also wanted a place for an intimate wedding if that is what you prefer with the chapel on-site and even a bridal cottage for the bride and her bridal party to use at their leisure.
It’s just been three years since Griffin opened the property as a fairytale wedding event venue. Since then, countless couples have said their vows in a place that looks like they were out of the state and into the English countryside.
She values the teachings of the Bible, such as the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” and “To whom much is given, much is expected.”
Griffin also lives her life by another favored adage: “Love big!”
