The Face Of Allergy and Asthma
Little Rock Allergy & Asthma Clinic
The Little Rock Allergy & Asthma Clinic (LRAAC), which provides care to those in need of treatment for allergy- and asthma-related symptoms, boasts a diverse group of physicians with over 100 years of combined experience. All are board-certified in allergy and immunology, allowing them to treat patients with even the most complicated cases. LRAAC aims to help Arkansas breathe easier.
“All of our physicians were also trained and board-certified in pediatrics or internal medicine,” says their team of physicians. “These backgrounds gave us the opportunities to see many fields of medicine. The specialty of allergy and immunology gives us not only the opportunity to treat chronic medical problems in a clinic setting but also to build life-long relationships with patients and their families in the process.”
The clinic provides all standard allergy, asthma and immunology services while also maintaining a clinical research center that offers new, cutting-edge therapy options. Little Rock Allergy & Asthma Clinic is the only clinic in central Arkansas that studies pollen, and they provide the pollen count to local TV stations.
LRAAC was founded in 1981 by Dr. Kelsy Caplinger and Dr. Gene France. During its 38 years of business, the clinic has added numerous nurses and ancillary staff who are well-trained in caring for allergy and asthma patients. The clinic currently employs three full-time respiratory therapists and five full-time physicians with plans to expand further soon.
The LRAAC main clinic is in west Little Rock, but there are also branches in North Little Rock, Bryant and Pine Bluff.
