Fifteen years ago, Arkansas Surgical Hospital started with a single goal: to provide exceptional patient care. From the challenges of opening a physician-owned hospital in 2005 to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, ASH has remained true to their commitment to patient safety, efficiency, low costs, and exceptional patient experiences.
A focus on overall patient experience sets Arkansas Surgical Hospital apart from most health care facilities. Its skilled physician owners and the exceptional staff around them create an environment where outcomes exceed patient expectations.
The unique patient-focused atmosphere includes 41 in-patient suites that have a separate room just for family members to rest while the patient recovers. In addition, there is an on-site chef and room service so patients can select meals prepared specifically for them.
Arkansas Surgical Hospital is proud to receive ongoing recognition from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other national organizations for its overall level of quality and patient experience.
This year, Arkansas Surgical Hospital was honored to serve on the City of Little Rock’s COVID-19 Task Force, which was formed at the beginning of the national health crisis. This designation was even more a reminder that the physicians at the hospital are leaders of their respective industries and experts in the fields of medicine and health care.
Arkansas Surgical Hospital strives to create an atmosphere where its patients and guests can truly say, “Arkansas Surgical Hospital is my hospital.” The dedicated team of physicians, clinicians and support staff is proud of the hard work they put in every day to make Arkansas Surgical Hospital all that it is — and patients are proud to call it theirs, too.
