From the people who brought you Feed and Folly, coming soon to Fayetteville is a new outdoor restaurant called City Park. The project is located in the former AT&T truck station on N. Leverett Ave. Owners Lewis Chase, Michael Sutton and Matt Sutton named the project City Park after the original name of Wilson Park. For more information, check out Fayetteville Flyer.

 

The Bagel Shop has its next pop-up shop Sunday, July 16, at Egg Shells Kitchen Co. The Bagel Shop has been taking the Little Rock bagel business by storm. Its first two pop-ups were wildly successful, with them running out of bagels within the first forty-five minutes. The second pop-up shop held at Bernice Garden Farmers Market in Little Rock had a line of supporters before they were scheduled to open. Follow their Instagram for their next move.

 

All good things must come to an end. After three years, the Dairy Queen on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fayetteville has closed permanently. Luckily you can still get burgers, fries and ice cream as there are still a few Dairy Queens in the area.

 

On July 11, Overtime Lounge hosted a Lucky’s Sports Bar & Grill fundraiser in Maumelle after the Lucky’s suffered a disastrous fire. There were no bodily injuries, but at this time, Lucky’s will be closed until further notice.

 

A new Tropical Smoothie is coming to West Little Rock, at The Ranch off Cantrell Road. The restaurant opens on July 22, with all the bells and whistles. Franchise owners DYNE Hospitality are opening their 91st Tropical Smoothie with a full schedule of giveaways, $1.99 happy hour smoothies, and yoga classes; this opening can’t be beaten.

 

Hot Springs’ own McClard’s Bar-B-Que & Little Rock’s Down Home Catering have partnered up to Create McClard’s and Down Home Catering. Menus have been merged together to give customers the best of both worlds—more details to come.

 

According to a representative,Walk-On’s® Sports Bistreauxis opening three new locations in Jonesboro, Little Rock, and Fayetteville, in addition to their existing locations in Conway, Fort Smith, and Rogers. No official details about Jonesboro or Little Rock are available but the Fayetteville location is supposed to open in August and is located at 119 N. Shiloh Dr.

 

Bojangles restaurant has made it to Clarksville; just off Interstate 40 at the Love’s Travel Stop, you can get some fresh, juicy chicken. This restaurant is the chain’s second location in Arkansas, and with their partnership with Love’s Travel Stop, we can only expect more to come.

 

Yarnell’s Ice Cream Festival is returning to Bentonville. The ninth-annual festival will begin on July 30 at 9:00 a.m., during the Bentonville Farmers Market on Bentonville Square. There will be free ice cream and Freezefest, an ice cream eating contest. This event is something for the whole family to enjoy.
