Jersey Mike’s Subs opened a new outlet last week at 3901 Warden Road in North Little Rock, on the lot of The Other Center, a popular spot as of late for new restaurant openings.

 

The Bagel Shop has set up and started serving lunch inside Stone’s Throw Brewing’s Stifft Station Taproom at 3015 W. Markham St., offering “a rotating selection of fresh bagels and sandwiches, ‘Adult Lunchable’ meat and cheese trays, and more,” according to a news release. A Stone’s Throw spokeswoman told sources that if things work out, they’ll make it a permanent arrangement.

 

Beacon Beer Bar and Rope Hounds Taproom are now open in Downtown Bentonville just off of SW A Street. The bars are across the street from each other. So if you’re in Bentonville and in the mood for a drink, you can enjoy a beer and great vibes at Beacon Beer Bar or bring your dog to Rope Hounds Taproom and check out their locally handcrafted dog gear.

 

Mellow Mushroom, located at 16103 Chenal Pkwy Suite 900 in Little Rock, has closed its doors.

 

2Twenty1 Coffee, located at 221 W 2nd St #102 in Little Rock, has closed its doors. Its sister shop, the Paranoid Android inside of the Little Rock Technology Center, is still open.

 

7 Brew is opening another coffee stand in Central Arkansas. This time – in Maumelle. For more information, read this earlier article.

 

Dog Town Pizza has set a target opening date of Nov. 1 at 5500 MacArthur Drive, the “Amboy” area of North Little Rock, the site of several restaurants and bars in recent years.

 

Grab It & Go Smoked Meats is shutting its doors on Friday, Oct. 7.

 

Kassi’s Cookies will be opening their location in Downtown Conway on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m.

 

Main Street Cafe in Searcy recently closed after 31 years in business. The owners posted on social media that the struggle to “keep up with economic changes,” and the pandemic, contributed to the decision to close.

 

Cypress Social will host its first “Wine & Swine Social” event from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 9. The fall event offers tasting opportunities for 50 global wines, “an elevated BBQ buffet and Raw Oyster Bar buffet and bites from their award-winning chefs,” according to a news release.
