Tasty African Restaurant has opened in the Westchase Shopping Center off N. Shackleford Road in Little Rock, next to Aji Ramen Bar. The menu includes a number of traditional African soups and various dishes made with Jollof rice, beans, plantains, tilapia, goat and jerk chicken.
Rock City Burger Week began on Monday, Sept. 26 and will continue through Saturday, Oct. 2. Almost two dozen Little Rock and North Little Rock restaurants, including local classics like Rosie’s Pot & Kettle, Loca Luna, Dugan’s Pub and Corky’s Ribs & BBQ, will be offering special $9 burgers. Fatburger, a fast-casual burger joint, announced a new location coming to 2205 Dave Ward Drive in Conway later in 2022. The location is the former home of Steak ‘n Shake.
Lea Lea’s Gourmet Dogs has opened in its new home at 3408 S. University Ave. in Little Rock, after moving from 215 Center St. Owner Cherreyl Alexander told sources her alcoholic beverage license came through, so she can serve beer, wine and the establishment’s mixed-by-machine daiquiris.
Cheesecake on point! announced they will have a vending machine placed inside McCain Mall near the middle of October. Shoppers will be able to stop by the vending machine and quickly grab a yummy cheesecake dessert without having to sit down in a restaurant.
