Holidays on Main Street
The holidays are coming to Main Street in Little Rock.
This week, the Downtown Little Rock Partnership and the Little Rock Zoo are joining forces to host “Holidays on Main Street,” a wonderland of festive lights stretching from 3rdStreet to 7 Street.
However, the highlight will be Union Plaza, which will feature a high-tech tree along with plenty of more holiday lights. It’s the perfect spot to grab an Instagram shot!
“Holidays on Main Street” is a big change from Little Rock’s normal holiday celebrations, which can attract thousands to watch. This has been scaled-back to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. will be kicking off “Holidays on Main Street” on Monday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. with a live-streamed tree lighting ceremony. You can catch the ceremony on the City of Little Rock’s YouTube page.
Get into the spirit of the season and stroll down Main Street (in a socially distanced manner) and take in all the wonder of this time of year.
This free, family-friendly “Holidays on Main Street” will be up until the end of the year.
