It’s a bold move to put the word “Great” in your event title. After all, what happens if the event is not-so-great? Fortunately for the Great Arkansas Beer Festival, that’s not the case!

In fact, both the festival and the selection of vendors are excellent. There will be more than 100 breweries represented at the festival, which is being held Saturday, July 27, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

The festival is designed to celebrate the Arkansas craft beer industry, with vendors ranging from Rebel Kettle Brewing to Lost Forty Brewing. In addition, there will be specialty brewers from across the U.S. at the festival, showing off their wares.

While the festival is a celebration of all things hops and suds, it’s also a chance to support a great cause. Hosted by 103.7 The Buzz, the festival benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas.

Tickets for the festival are $25 until July 1. After that date, general admission tickets will be $30, while VIP tickets will be $60. On the day of the festival, ticket prices increase to $40. There will also be designated driver tickets for sale for $10 at the door.

General admission grants attendees festival access, along with a souvenir tasting glass. In addition, it allows you to sample as many beers as you would like to. While food is available, it must be purchased separately. VIP tickets enable attendees to enter the festival one hour early and sample a limited supply of rare specialty beers.
