The Grind Coffee Bistro officially reopened on Saturday, June 18 with a ribbon cutting and community day, however, that’s hardly the most recent news from the eatery. Heaven Mckinney, the owner, has confirmed that the coffee destination has applied for its liquor license.

“Before the fire we had started featuring brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and I always wanted to open a coffee bar, so we will pair great drink favorites with liquor and food to give a great experience,” Mckinney said.

According to Mckinney, there will also be live jazz and neo-soul music making the Grind not just another coffee bar, but a coffee bar and venue which are both exciting developments for coffee and music lovers in Little Rock.
