The fourth stop on the Patio Bucket List takes Heather Baker to Hill Station located in the Hillcrest neighborhood of Little Rock. After showing off the interior of the restaurant, Baker heads outside to the patio where a spread of food and drinks are waiting for her.

“I’m out on this beautiful patio – huge, beautiful patio – and they have hooked us up with some amazing items,” Baker says.

Starting off with the drinks, Baker is served the restaurant’s specialty Hills Glow, Royal 75 and the Blackberry Bullet.

To balance the drinks, Bakers digs into a new menu item, the black bean hummus.

“I had a little sneak bite of [the hummus] earlier and it is amazing,” she says before taking another bite.

The ponzu glazed duck wings are next and Baker is amazed at the flavor.

“I love the crispiness of these and the taste is amazing,” Baker says. “You need to come in and try these.”

One of Baker’s favorite food items, pimento cheese, is calling her name and she is more than happy to dive in.

“If you’ve ever watched my show you know I’m obsessed with pimento cheese. This pimento cheese is fresh and it’s good,” Baker says. “[The pimento cheese] has been hot on the menu, but it’s going cold, and that’s what we want right now.”

The tuna poke nachos are next up and Baker shares how Hill Station is able to serve fresh meats.

“Did you know that [Hill Station has] their own butcher shop across the street? All of their meat, from their fish to their beef, comes from HAM Market and it is fresh. You’re getting butcher shop meat in all their dishes,” Baker says.

The B.A. salad is what Baker describes as a perfect summer dish. Served with thinly sliced, house-cured bresaola (from HAM Market), arugula, lemon herb vinaigrette and parmesan, this is a lighter dish for these hot summer days.

“This is light and fresh and great for a patio,” Baker says.

Following her salad, Baker takes on the Squash Blossom sandwich. This sandwich is piled high with avocado, pepper jack, alfalfa sprouts, red onion, aioli, tomato, spike seasoning and turkey on multigrain bread.

“This is everything you want in a delicious sandwich,” Baker says.

Baker finishes her meal with the Royal 75 and invites everyone to head out to Hill Station to dine on the patio.

Tune in next week for the final stop on the Patio Bucket List.
