The 69th Annual Home Show is coming up soon, and this year only gets better, bringing the best in home design and construction. The Home Builders Association of Greater Little Rock (HBA-GLR) is bringing new elements to the show for homeowners and businesses to lay the foundation for new projects.
The HBA-GLR, a non-profit trade association, on any given day is useful for finding information on anything home-related. The organization is one of 800 locations across the country and is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders. Builders, manufacturers, designers, or anyone that falls into the home or outdoor category can find helpful resources through the HBA-GLR, and members are entitled to seminars, networking, and professional development. The Home Show is an insight into all that makes up the home network, allowing attendees to see firsthand local vendors that can bring their home to the next level.
“We have a new venue, we have a new look, we have a new layout,” says Meredith Townsend, Chief Executive Officer of HBA-GLR. The show has been revamped for guests to enjoy more of a browsing experience. Held at the Statehouse Convention Center, the experts in home improvement, interior design, outdoor solutions, remodeling, mortgage lenders and more will be on-hand to answer any questions guests may have as they journey through the set-up.
Lumber One will be the presenting sponsor of the Home Show with a full showroom showcasing the Lumber One store. “Lumber One isn’t just a place to buy a hammer, they have a design section, lawn and garden, kitchen and so much more to explore. We’re really trying to bring the store to our guests,” says Townsend.
With countless vendors and experts, HBA-GLR is building a one-stop shop for guests to come in, find what they need, and learn something new along the way. “A home is the most important and probably the largest investment any person or family can make in their lifetime. Your home is where you create memories. Your home is warm and it’s inviting, and [HBA-GLR] wants the Home Show to reflect that,” says Townsend. “When you walk into the Home Show, we want you to feel welcomed and comfortable and experience our show in a new way.”
As though you really are at home, your family’s health and safety is the Home Show’s top priority as well. “We will be following guidelines and/or mandates that may be in place at the time of the show. We are constantly checking the Department of Health’s updates, especially as they pertain to the time of our show,” says Townsend. The HBA-GLR is hopeful that we are in one of the final quarters of the virus, and regardless, the show will go on with safety for attendees and vendors at the forefront.
The show will be held on May 22 – 23, 2021. Attendees can purchase tickets to the show on the HBA-GLR website or at the door, and be on the lookout for free ticket giveaways!
