It’s time once again for Heather Baker’s weekly bucket list jaunt. This time around, she was joined by KARK’s Hilary Hunt on their next stop on the Asian Food Bucket List. And everything’s better with a little Chi’s. Chi’s Asian Cafe, in Little Rock, that is. Director of operations, Marciel Antipolo, and the rest of the Chi’s staff had tons of delicious dishes in store for the ladies.

 

Baker and Hunt got things rolling with the Walnut Shrimp, which has a spectacular sauce that’s a little sweet, a little sour — a little everything.

 

 

Next, Baker was kind enough to let Hunt try out her favorite dish at Chi’s, the sesame chicken. And while Hunt chowed down on the chicken, Baker dove into something new for her, Chi’s peppered steak.

 

 

 

“That’s why I love doing Bucket List,” Baker says. “I love trying new foods.”

 

 

It probably helps that, as Antipolo says, they “don’t use low-quality steak around here.”

 

 

And it wouldn’t quite be a complete trip to Chi’s without trying a little sushi. The staff whipped up some of the fan favorites of the restaurant: the OMG Roll, Kamikaze Roll and Las Vegas Roll.

 

 

To wash everything down with style, Hunt sipped on the Singapore Sling cocktail, while Baker found refreshment in the Geisha Lemonade.

 

“As we wrap it up here, we’re gonna say cheers, and we will see you next week on the next week on the last week of Asian,” Baker concludes.
