For the latest stop on the Hibachi Bucket List tour, Heather Baker skipped over to Kemuri in Little Rock.
“We could not miss Kemuri,” Baker says. “The presentations of their bowls is spectacular. And, of course, he’s got the ‘Heather’s Favorite,’ the dragon egg. We’re here for hibachi, but they’ve made us some of everything. And this food is always amazing, from their brunch, their lunch, their special occasions.”
For her first bite from the incredible spread laid out for her, Baker sunk her teeth right into a bowl of shrimp hibachi, which she says was a delicious concoction of flavors.
But she had to branch out from just the hibachi to try the other dishes Kemuri made for her. Like the bibimbap, wasabi tuna poke bowl, and even a vegetarian tofu bowl.
No matter what new dish she tries when visiting the eatery, Baker always finds her way back to the Dragon Egg. It’s an avacado loaded with crab, eel sauce and tons of other delicious flavors. In her words, “It is the most amazing thing you will ever eat.”
To wrap up her meal, Baker finished things off with a Cappuccino Jar, which she says is one of the best desserts in Little Rock.
