When one of the members of their circle dies, their lives are changed forever. If you’re a fan of the 1989 movie, make sure to check this play out! Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for students, seniors and military.

Sometimes we get so busy around Christmas time that we forget the true reason for the season. Drive over to Benton First Assembly on Thursday or Friday night to relive part of the Christmas story. The church has created a living Nativity that you can drive through. Drive through all scenes leading up to the birth of Jesus as you enjoy free hot chocolate in the comfort of your car. FREE

What: 2ndFriday Cinema: A Christmas Story

It’s not really Christmas until you’ve watched a few great Christmas movies, and A Christmas Storyis at the top of my list. This 1983 movie is a Christmas classic, and the Old State House Museum is hosting a free showing of the movie! Watch Ralphie Parker’s adventures during Christmas and find out if he gets the Red Ryder BB gun that he wants!

This is sure to be a popular event, and it’s free!

What: Holidays in the Wild
Where: Little Rock Zoo
When: 10 a.m.
Take a walk on the wild side this Christmas! Enjoy a breakfast or lunch buffet and then have fun making holiday crafts. Afterwards, take a picture with Santa in Café Africa and watch as he delivers presents to all the animals that have been good this year! Tickets are $19.95 for child non-members and $24.95 for adult non-members. For members, tickets are $9.95 for kids and $12.95 for adults.
What: Cocoa & Carols
Where: Mosaic Templars Cultural Center
When: 10 a.m.
There’s no such thing as too much hot chocolate around Christmas. Head over to the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center on Saturday for delicious hot cocoa and some great caroling from the Dunbar Magnet Middle School choir. Nothing says Christmas like caroling! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by for a quick visit at noon, but until then, enjoy great singing, book readings and holiday crafts. This is a free event.
What: Christmas Spirits
Where: Outlets of Little Rock
When: 4-7 p.m.
The Outlets of Little Rock is holding a special holiday event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas. This Saturday, get your ticket and try some delicious holiday-inspired cocktails in the pop-up Christmas Spirits Cocktail Lounge. Afterwards, shop ‘til you drop at the outlet stores where there will be special discounts! Tickets are $25 until Dec. 14. Tickets can be purchased here.
What: Razorback Basketball (UA vs. University of Texas at San Antonio)
Where: Verizon Arena

Support the Arkansas Razorbacks as they play the University of Texas at San Antonio! There’s nothing like a good December basketball game to get the blood flowing! Make sure to get your tickets soon. They are selling out quickly. Tickets are currently $25 and can be purchased here.

What: Santa Brunch
Where: Watercolor in the Park
When: 11 a.m.
