Sometimes you just can’t catch a break in life. One thing after another happens and once it snowballs, things can get overwhelming. A few months ago, my ice maker created a huge mess in my kitchen, forcing my family and me to relocate for a period of time. I contacted Cathy Tuggle with Apartment Hunter and she found us a place to stay immediately.
Cathy is a woman of many talents and wears many hats. She founded Tuggle Services Inc. in October of 1999 and since then, she has substantially grown her business. Part of Tuggle Services Inc., “a real estate and relocation company,” is Arkansas Suites and Apartment Hunters. Going back to the beginning, Cathy started out with Apartment Hunters, a business offering free services to clients to relocate apartment homes, condos, rental homes, and duplexes. From Apartment Hunters, Arkansas Suites was born.
“Apartment Hunters is a relocation service and we assist people who are relocating to the metropolitan area. We help major employers and people that are moving locally. We help them with apartments, rental homes, duplexes, condos, any type of rental property,” Cathy explains. “We tour them around the city so they can get acclimated to the area and by the end of the day they’re excited about their relocation to the city.”
“One year after I purchased Apartment Hunters, I saw that there was a need for furnished, temporary housing and that gave me the idea to start a corporate housing company. We work with the Little Rock area and in the Northwest Arkansas Area with Arkansas Suites,” Cathy says. “We furnish apartments, rental homes and condos and we rent them on a short-term basis like on a month-to-month basis or longer. We own all of our furniture and every single apartment, condo or home is decorated in a different way than the others. I’ve personally decorated each place and I take pride in how unique they are.”
The decorated homes are breathtaking to say the least. Each property is decorated according to the area that they’re in, but all are contemporary and updated. All properties are located in luxury neighborhoods so comfortability is no issue at all.
Cathy and her team go above and beyond to make your stay, however long it is, the best that it can be. If I have an issue, of which there have been very few, Cathy’s team is quick to fix the problem as soon as possible. I have already sent many, and I mean many, referrals her way because I am so thrilled by the level of customer service in her businesses.
“If you’re in between homes or you sold your house and you are not sure of what you’re wanting to do, we can assist you in renting something either unfurnished on a short-term basis or you can rent something furnished on a month-to-month basis. Or, if you’re relocating to the city and you want to get your feet wet on where to live, this is a great start to do something short term with our service until you can purchase a house or rent something on a long-term basis,” Cathy says. “I love helping people and one of the great things about our company is, we’re hands-on. We’re very customer service oriented in a world today where there’s very little interaction with people anymore. Rather than calling a company and receiving an automated message before you can talk to an actual person, we always answer our phones and we can help.”
Being able to walk into a temporary home that is completely furnished and move-in ready so quickly was a blessing. Everything–– from the big things like the sofa and bed, to the smallest necessities including forks, towels, even the napkins–– were all ready for our arrival. All we had to bring was the clothes on our backs, and a few suitcases, of course. I am forever grateful to Cathy Tuggle and her team for making this relocation a home away from home for me and my family. I hope that I never have to face another disaster in my home again, but if it happens, I know who to call.
