The Hogs are pulling together for a good cause.

On Tuesday, Nov. 24, the Arkansas Razorbacks will be holding a drive-thru food drive at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the food drive is aimed at helping Northwest Arkansas food pantries ahead of the holidays.

During the food drive, Razorback athletes and staff members will collect canned food items and other non-perishable food items. This drive will utilize a contactless system, taking place in Parking Lott 44, north of the stadium.

Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek encouraged fans to come out to the food drive to support those in the community who may be struggling to find food this holiday season.

“As a Razorback nation, we have so much for which to be thankful, however, there are still far too many in our area suffering with food insecurity,” Yurachek said in a statement. “We are inviting Razorback fans to join us to help make a difference for those in our area who are in need this holiday season. So, pack up your vehicle with canned and other non-perishable food items and join us at the stadium on Tuesday. Your short drive could go a long way in helping fellow Arkansans through a difficult time.

To donate food items, place all items in your vehicle’s trunk or cargo area before arriving at the stadium. All passengers will be required to remain in their vehicles during the unloading process, and volunteers will be required to maintain social distancing in addition to wearing masks and gloves.

Those who donate will also be receiving some great swag. They will get a free Razorback t-shirt and a voucher for two complimentary tickets for the Arkansas women’s basketball home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Bud Walton Arena.
