FIRST BIG BREAK:

After being at the bank for only six months, I was approached by a senior executive to run a corporate-wide program. The goal was to improve our efficiency ratio which measures how many pennies it takes to make a dollar. This metric grew in profile in the banking industry after the 2008 financial struggles. I led a team of 76 people, and we implemented 250 initiatives which ultimately led to our goal of a sub-forty efficiency ratio (from 65 percent to 37 percent).

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

Being the first woman to be named to both the Centennial Bank and Home BancShares board of directors. I am also very proud of my daughter.

SURPRISING FACT:

I ran in the Junior Olympics as a sprinter when I was 14 years old.

REMEMBER ME FOR:

Being thoughtful and being a great mom.

ADVICE TO OTHERS:

Be the person your boss thinks of when they need something done. If you continue to deliver results, your name will be top of mind when the next opportunity comes around.
