FIRST BIG BREAK:

David Bost (Arkadelphia, AR) first trained me in the industry. John Clower (McGehee, AR) provided me the opportunity of business ownership and Southeast Insurance was formed. Both men taught the importance of customer service which is the cornerstone of my agency.

ATTRACTION TO CAREER:

At the age of 12, my dad who was a small business owner was involved in an accident. At that moment, life changed drastically for our family in every way including financially. Later, I would learn there was something called disability insurance that protects your paycheck in the event you could no longer work. It became a passion of mine to help others in similar times of need and tell my story.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

Winning multiple awards on a local, state and national level in the insurance industry, all while my agency is located in a small town of only about 7,000 people in south Arkansas.

SURPRISING FACT:

My first summer job was working in tomatoes.  I never missed a day of work, thanks to my parents, who instilled the value of work ethic.  My siblings and I all own or have owned our own businesses.

PERSON YOU ADMIRE MOST:

Dolly Parton for her business success. She is a woman who holds her head high, is not easily intimidated and is not ashamed to talk about her successes, failures or struggles.
