The Coffee and Pastries Bucket List tour is “pressing” on. This week, KARK’s Hilary Hunt and Hunter Hoagland check out Mugs Coffee Co.
“I’m pumped this week, because, Hunter, we are at one of our favorite spots,” Hunt says.
“Listen, you know how much I love coffee,” Hoagland says. “You know I drink a ton of it. So I was like, ‘I got to get in on this one.”
As two of the early birds of KARK, Hunt and Hoagland both say they drink a lot of coffee. So they know a thing or two about java. Coffee connoisseurs, if you will.
They’re so familiar with the lay of the coffee shop land, Hunt starts things off with one of the staff’s favorites at Mugs Coffee — Iced Honey Cinnamon Oat Milk Latte.
Hoagland prefers his cups of Joe hot — in more ways than one. He begins his tasting experience with the Mayan Mocha, which has cayenne pepper.
From Mugs Coffee’s fall menu, Hunt also tried out the seasonal Sweater Weather Cappucino, with house-made cardamom syrup, honey, espresso and steamed milk. And if coffee’s not your thing, Hoagland has you covered with the Matcha Tea Latte.
Next up — food. Hoagland is all over the French toast (needing to cool his mouth off with syrup from that cayenne). Then there’s the breakfast tacos, avocado and toast. And, of course, the delectable pastries filling up the entire table to truly stay true with the Coffee and Pastries Bucket List vibe.
That’s all she poured for the November Bucket List series. Where will the crew end up next? Well, you’ll have to tune in next week to find out.
