Oct. 1 and 2 are the dates for your 2021 International Greek Food Festival. Due to the ongoing pandemic, they will not be able to showcase entertainment, music, and cultural markets, but the food is definitely happening. 

 

The 10th Anniversary Main Street Food Truck Festival in downtown Little Rock is on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. 

 

Speaking of food truck festivals.

 

“Fright Night in Argenta” is on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7:30. Here’s all the info, including a link to purchase tickets. 

 

HarvestFest will be held Oct. 30 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with new restrictions. From the organizers: “All vendors, food truck operators, and volunteers must be vaccinated or show proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the festival. All Harvestfest attendees must be vaccinated or show proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the festival in order to participate in any HarvestFest activities. This restriction applies to shopping with vendors or food trucks, buying a beer from the beer garden, participating in the Baggo tournament or the dog show, accessing the VIP area, or sitting in the concert venue.”

 

Seis Puentes Education and Resource Centers presents Hispanic Heritage Month … Food, Art, Music, and Dance on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Argenta Plaza in North Little Rock. Admission is free.

The 10th Annual World Cheese Dip Championship is set for Saturday, Oct. 10, but you can purchase your tickets today. 

 

Go celebrate Octoberfest at Fassler Hall on Sunday, Oct. 3. 

 

Don’t forget about Conway. They have festivals, too. 

 

And speaking of the “City of Colleges,” the annual Taste of Conway event is on Oct. 14 at the Conway Expo Center.

 

Folks in or around Jonesboro will want to attend the Fall Festival on Oct. 9

 

The Arkansas Rice Festival is Saturday, Oct. 9 in Weiner. 

 

BoBrook Farms is opening its Pumpkin Patch on Friday, Oct. 1 and it will extend throughout the entire month.
