The sixth season of Jazz in the Park, which celebrates local musicians in the Little Rock jazz scene, will come to a close at the end of next month.
The family-friendly event is free and open to the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday nights throughout the month of September. It takes place at History Pavilion in Riverfront Park. The West Pavilion is the alternate location for the event, in case of rain.
Beer, wine, water and soda will be for sale, along with special Jazz in the Park koozies. A portion of the funds raised from selling koozies will benefit Art Porter Music Education, Inc.’s scholarship fund. To learn more about Art Porter Music Education, click here. Jazz in the Park is sponsored by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the River Market.
