Walk through Riverfront Park on a Wednesday evening, and you’ll see people lounging, enjoying each other’s company and paying rapt attention to something, and then you’ll hear it: the strains of cool jazz floating in the air.

And that can only mean one thing: the return of Jazz in the Park.

Now in its seventh year, Jazz in the Park is back for the 2019 season. Featuring the best jazz, R&B and soul artists, Jazz in the Park has become a mainstay in Little Rock’s arts and cultural landscape.

In April and September, Jazz in the Park will be celebrating Little Rock’s rich jazz scene.

The free event regularly draws 500 to 1,000 people of all stripes. Whether you are a young single, a retiree, a parent who wants a night out, or an overnight guest, Jazz in the Park is the perfect event for you.

Bijoux

This week, Jazz in the Park will welcome Little Rock favorite Bijoux to the History Pavilion.

Check out the full April schedule:

April 3 — Bijoux
April 10 — Tawanna Campbell
April 17 — Genine LaTrice-Perez (New to Jazz in the Park)
April 24 — Ramona Smith

Beverages, including beer, wine, sodas and water, will be available for sale during Jazz in the Park.

Jazz in the Park takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. in April and September at the History Pavilion in Riverfront Park in Little Rock.
